So I have currently been testing out a theory that just by buying one type of item on the Auction house and changing it to a different item a larger amount of gold can be made . But how can you turn lead into gold ?
Items for Any Class
Frozen Orbs
So what can you do with them ? You can trade them for Eternals by visiting
Frozo the Renowned in Dalaran . What you should see is that the price for frozen orbs should be the same price as the Highest Eternal (
Eternal Life ,
Eternal Fire,
Eternal Air Eternal Water ,
Eternal Shadow and
Eternal Earth ) . I find this is not he case and there is normally a difference . So for a quick sell buy some Frozen orbs convert them to the highest selling Eternal and wait for the Gold.
Heavy Borean Leather
Well the simple one here is that 10 of this item will trade up for 1
Arctic Fur its not one to invest in for stockpiling but there still selling and it can be a cheap conversion .
Other items
There are many items that can be combined or broken down to release the mats and these also can be profitable to buy change and sell .

So this has been the focus of my experiment if you use the spell
Abyssal Shatter then it will produce you about 6-11
Infinite dust or 3-6
Greater cosmic essences . I generally find its produces more essences then dust , but I have been buying all crystals under 10 gold and making some great profits from it .
Void Shatter
So for this one you need to be honoured with The Shattered sun offensive but if your
Void crystals are cheap its another small earner by converting them to 2
Large prismatic Shards

So There are some great conversions here all of the 4 below sell for 3g 14s 78c .

Crystal Citrine Necklace
Sun Rock Ring
So go to your ah and check the price of the following
Sun Crystal ,
Bloodstone ,
Chalcedony,
Citrine and
Crystallized Earth .
To make any of the above you need 1 gem and 2 Earth so do the simple sum and add the cost together and make a profit .
The next two rings to look at are
Stoneguard and
shadowmight I would suggest working with a enchanter to turn these into enchanting materials especially with the amount of
Infinite dust that you get . To make these rings you need 2 Eternal Earths for Stoneguard and 1 Eternal Earth and 1 Eternal Shadow for Shadowmight.
Tailor
I haven't found any direct conversions but a simple one is to buy cloth and make bolts and then relist the blots .
Miner
What's the vendor price for 20 bars ?
Copper Bar 2 silver
Bronze Bar 10 silver
Iron Bar 40 silver
Mithril Bar 80 silver
Thorium Bar 1g 20 silver
Fel Iron Bar 4g
Cobalt Bar 7gold 50 silver
Saronite Bar 25 gold
So as you can see from the above list saronite is a safe bet to buy ore at 12.5g a stack but it will give you a view on others and what prices you can snatch them up at .
