 Module 2 Crafting - Crafting Setup 

Before you start using the Crafting window you need to Set up what item you can craft and some additional Settings .

Step 1 - first you need to go into your profession and then Select which items you want to add to your crafting window , the easiest option is to enable all Crafts and  I would recommend it the first time that you setup and look over what is profitable.

If you don't want a item to appear in your Crafting window leave the Check Box unchecked as in the image Below

Step 2 Additional Item Settings - 

For each items it gives you the following options :

TSM _Auctioning Group to add too  - This allows you to add the item to any of your existing Groups
Name of New Group to add item - This allows you to create a new Group
Override Max restock- This will override the Maximum restock level for this item
Override Min Restock  -This will override the Minimum Restock level for this item
Ignore Seen Count Filter - Will ignore the Seen count for this item
Don't Queue this item -If you don't want this item to be queued( wont make item)

I go into more detail into the what the Settings mean in the general settings post 

You will need to go through Each item and Item Group to set up them all up .

Step 3 - Material Costs 

For each of the Crafts there is a page after the Item groups that allows you to set the Prices of  the Base Material Costs , if you want to change any of the prices just check the box and edit the price .

 The Above image is of the Crafting window in TSM to open it just click the Button on top of the normal Crafting window .

Once open you will then be able to select from the list what items you want to look at below is the information that will be displayed when you .

• Name - This is the Item name that can be made 
• AH/Bags/Bank/Alts - This shows how many of that item you have and its location
• Market Value - Current Market Value ( Sale Price ) 
• Profit - How much profit is made by making the item 

How to use the Restock and On hand Queue 

Restock Queue If you have followed the previous Sections of the Guide then you have already setup your Setting for the Restock Queue .To use the queue it very simple Just press the Restock queue button and the list will then Populate .This is the same for the On-Hand Queue But will only use items in your current Bags .

Once you have Populated the Queue it will appear in a List like this , i have Set my restock amount at 3 items the colours have different meaning 

Green - Have items on hand to make 

Yellow - Have mats on a alt 

Red - Don't have mats 

 This will also then give you a break down of the Mats that are required to make the items working with the same colour coding

Red - Don't have mats 

Then once you are ready to craft just press the Craft next button this will then process your list of items that you can make .

For any items that you didn't have they will appear in the Queue in the AH panel under Buy Crafting Mats .So please Check out this section of the Guide if you haven't read it yet.

Welcome to Part 2 of the TSM guide

I will now Explain which each of the buttons do
-Auctioning Post
-Auctioning Cancel
-Auctioning Cancel All
-Auctioning Status/config
-AuctionDB Run Scan

-Shopping Dealfinder

Auctioning Post :
This is the Main button that you will be using to sell items in your groups that have been set up previously.

Before the item goes live it will display the information Displayed in the image , at this stage you can choose to Post Auction ,Skip Item or Stop Posting .










Auctioning Cancel :
When this button is pressed it does a scan of the AH and will then produce a list of all the items that you have been under cut on .

It will then give you the option to cancel Auction Skip Item or Stop Cancelling 





Auctioning Cancel All :

Cancel all give you the option to cancel  Actions in Bulk Based on a couple of different Factors

Items matching : For example you could type 'Glyph of ' and it would select all Glyphs to canceled .


Cancel All Filter :You can filter by a Specific grup or By time left by typing into the Box. IT would then select all items with that Criteria to be cancelled.

Auctioning Status/config

This runs a scan that Helps to Identify what items can be brought out to raise the price of he the groups you are managing . To access this once the scan has completed a Log Button will appear next to the TSM button click that and that is where the information will be .

The Config Button will take you to the Group Config page

AuctionDB Run Scan


There are two option here the first is the Get All Scan and the second is a smaller scan just focusing on professions.

The Get all will scan all items on the AH when the Profession Scan will just can the Trade goods and items made by and needed for that profession

Shopping General Buying :
This is simply a search of the AH , the item must be spelled exact or it wont be found. You are able to input the number you want and also the maximum price

This will then produce the Result of the lowest priced item that you have searched for

Shopping Milling/Disenchanting.Prospecting

In this Tab it allows you to search for items such as Herbs to mill , Items to DE and also and gems to Cut .

So for Milling as the example , You choose form the drop down and then it will Search all the Herbs in that produce it and then Give you the option to buy them .
It will also Record the amount of inks you have brought and the Average cost per ink.



Shopping Crafting Mats!

This is designed to work with the Crafting Queue Which i will go into Further detail in the next module


From the list produced from the items you have queued in TSM Crafting module this will individually go through each item and select the cheapest on  the AH for you .

You have the options to Buy and Skip each item .












Shopping Dealfinder

This is the Snatch List - This allows you to setup a list of items that you want to quickly scan for .The Dealfinder allows you to set the mexium price when you add the item into the Deal finder .

Adding a item into Dealfinder _
Select the Configure Dealfinder List .You can then Add the item by either the Shift Clicking on a item or adding the item numberID ( this can be found on wow head)

When you have added the Item you then need to set the maximum price for the item . Then Select Add item and it will be added to the List .

Next run the DealFinder Scan and see what appears ,It will scan the Items in the AH window next to it so make sure you have it on browse so you can see what it is scanning .

How to Use - The Shuffling Spreadsheet That Killed Them All

As this new Spreadsheet has recently been Made by The Consortium I wanted to explain how to use it in more depth. The Shuffling Spreadsheet That Killed Them All

The First Step is to input the Raw prices from your server . When doing this I will always look at the prices and will list about 2-3% above the lowest .







Once this step is completed then you will need to input the number of Stacks that you are buying.



This Will then Produce the Following Results :

Recommendations and Profit :

As You can See if Show each of the Different Gems types and Suggests what to do with them .

It also Shows you the DE% and then works out the Value of each gem and then makes a Recommendations  of what is best to do with the gem type.

Also if you Have access to Alchemy it works out the Value of making uncut Meta Gems for you and the Profit per gem..








The Profit :

Here is the Profit Section :
So it shows you the profit for quick sale - This is selling the Items Raw


Profit Maximized - 
Once You have made the items and De them or Sold the Blues here is the projected profit .


GPH - Gold Per hour
Also a great addition to see how much your time is really worth by Prospecting and shuffling.

MySales Addon Guide

Every Friday I Post MySales for the Week to show you what's Selling on My Server . But Here is a Guide showing you all the functionally of this Addon .

MySales is A Plug and Play Addon but like most Addons there is much more beneath the Surface .

So lets have a look ,to access the set up just type in /ms config 

What Functions Does it Have 
- Buyer Details
- Selection By Character
- Selection By Time

- Buyer Details 
As you can see you can choose who to show when you run the report , Guild Buyer, Friends , People of Interest.

POI - A good idea so you can see if you competition are Buying you out

- Selection By Character 
You can choose by individual character or by Faction Realm, I Find this really useful so you can see how each of your bank alts are doing

-Selection By Time 
So there are all the selections you would need . Giving you a good idea what's selling and when .








How to View Your Sales 
To View your sales just type in /ms window and the following window will appear

There are Three Tabs -

1. Sales 
2. Buyers 
3. Items

1.Sales (See Above Image)

On this Tab it shows a couple of Key Bit of Information  , Sales ( Number of ) Total Money ( total amount ) Item  , Amount Sold ( This shows the value - If you listed in stacks it wont show single value) , Buyer ( who brought it, sometimes it get missed off if you open mail too quickly) and finally when then sale was made.

2.Buyers

A useful Tab Here you can see who your best buyer is, Also you can see if any guild members of friends have been buying your items . 

It is annoying if the Data does not come through as you can see, but i presume a lot of those were MFCs .   

3.Items

This is the Tab I find Most useful , you are able to sort ( A to Z Like in Excel) each of the columns . This is very useful as you can quickly find your top selling items by volume and also value . 

Limitations - 

- You cant Export out to Excel ( anyone got a way ? ) 

- It Won't give you price per item if you have stacked items

- Can lose buyer info if mail opened too quick

APM - or How to deal with Multiple auctions - A guide to setting up APM

As I deal with over 500 auctions i suppose the question is how can u deal with the reposting without crying ever time they expire ?

APM - Auction Profit master

I will be honest with you the first time I installed it I didn't use it as I had no idea how and it seems a bit complicated .But hopefully I can take you through setting it up and make your life a lot easier .

So why use it ?
APM allows you to set-up  multiple groups with different thresholds and fall backs .

Threshold - This is the price that APM stops listing the item at . 

Fall back - If there are no other items on the market then this is the price that it will post at 

Here are my groups :

As you can see I have a different selection of groups and this is what there mainly for:
1-25g  - Odds and sods for low level green items
1-99g - Vendor recipes and non rare drops
25g-100g Is for semi rare recipes and items that i don't want sold below 25g
100-250 - mainly for higher priced items
250-400g another bracket for items of this value
500-1000g another bracket
1000-2500g  Rare recipes and items such as wortk and tbc recipes
5k + what is says on the tin items worth 5k+

So have I set these up ?
For the main groups i have set the threshold as the first number as the threshold and then second as the fallback.

Setting up a group on APM 

First install the Addon   use curse for all mine  APM - Auction Profit master 

Then once installed type /apm config  into you chat box and it will bring up this screen

First we want to add a new group so select the Item groups and then type in the name and hit okay.This will then appear in your items groups select this new group and you will come to this screen

We now need to setup all the different setting to make sure that your auctions are working correctly .

So they Break down into 3 sections

                                                                                                          

 General 

Override Stack Setting - Allows you to ignore items if there are too many stacks already on the AH Override post time - Allows you to set the posting time of your auctions

Quantities
Override post cap - This allows you to set the maximum number of one type of item that will be posted .
Override per auction - This is about stack size so if you want singles or maximum stack size this is the one to change

Price 
Override undercut - Sets your undercut amount
Override Bid Percentage  - Sets what percentage you want the bid for the item set at

Override Threshold - VERY IMPORTANT ONE - Sets the price that you will stop posting the item at . So if this is set at 1g then if there is another one the AH at 99s your item will not post .

Fallback

Override auto Fallback - THIS MUST BE TICKED

Override Fallback - This sets the price that APM will post to the AH if none of your items on the AH .



Once you have done this you will need to do is add items to your group select the add items tab

Then it is as simple as clicking on the items .

There is also a option for mass adding items . Typing something such as 'Glyph of '












Now that were all set its just time to post your items at the AH .Select the 3rd tab for auctions when at the ah and then across the top you you will have some new buttons .

Post and Cancel are all I will discuss today

Once you hit the post button a small box will pop up and will start asking you if you want to post your auctions.This is when you have a chance to check the price before it get listed and you have a option to skip the item or cancel the entire posting


There is alot more functionally with APM but this should give you a great start at setting up and using it to run a massive volume of auctions
